Who we are...

THE INDIA BIBLE MISSION (TIBM) is an established mission, carrying its missionary work in rural areas of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is founded in 1938 by father M. Devadasu, Dr. K. Manoharam and some other fellow leaders. After Rev. Dr. K. Manoharam promoted to glory in 1986, the responsibility of the mission work has chosen Late Mrs K. Sthotra Rani his only daughter as treasurer and Late Bro. K.Z.M. Santhi Raaz his only son, as the president of the mission.

Bro. Santhi Raaz shouldered the ministry until his death and was promoted to glory on 10th April, 2019. The ministry work is now being run by his only son, Dr. M Melchizedek and the rest of the family members. Presently TIBM is ministering among 'Eleven' churches, where "Ten" dedicated pastors are serving faithfully with great burden and hardship. All the churches and ministry is focused among the rural and outreached villages. Each church is having individual preaching points where more pastors are barely needed. As the congregation is centralized in rural areas and the members are agricultural laborers, the financial strength of each church is very poor. But, God is helping the ministry to go forward with the main motive of to spread the gospel to the rural people. The details of our work can be found in the  "CHURCHES".

What we do...

India is a diversified country with many languages, races, cultures and many more religions. The Hinduism itself is having thousands of gods and beliefs.  God is so gracious in extending His love, to this country even in the first century through his disciple St Thomas. Despite the sacrifices of many foreign as well as native missionaries and even after centuries, Christianity is restricted for 2% since decades, and Hinduism moving up crossing 80% to 85%. Most of the 2% Christians are also lukewarm in faith. The Indian Christianity is just like the Laodicea church mentioned in the book of Revelation.

The main reason is the gradually growing oppression from the native religions. The intolerance is growing day by day. The second reason is the confusion created by the multi-doctrinal missionary propaganda, entering into the Christian groups and spoiling their faith.

We believe, in these crucial circumstances, personal and group evangelism is more suitable than the mass conversions of earlier days. So we take the WORD to the unreached places, seed there by street preaching and personal counselling. Gather them as a church, arrange a temporary shelter and appoint pastor to keep and feed the flock.

In maintaining this kind of evangelism, we arrange orientation classes for the pastors and local church meetings for the church revival. We teach them the Bible truths in the light of present day situations and equip them with new tools to move further. God is with us and He is leading us with His Holy Spirit. We have faith in God that we can win more souls for His Kingdom. Amen

Yours in Christ…

Late K.Z.M. SANTHI RAAZ

A Tribute to Bro. K Z M Santhi Raaz

What we believe...

Our Motto

The mission is growing as a New Testament church founded on the basic motto ... "Do whatever He saith unto you '' (John 2:5)

The Godhead

Our God is a Trinity, the triune of three distinct persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit being co-existent, co-equal, and co-eternal.

Salvation

Salvation for man (which is fallen from his perfect and sinless state through Adam) is attained by the grace of God through Jesus Christ His Son, by His death upon the cross, through the Holy Spirit's conviction, by repentance, and through an experience of the new birth. This is accomplished by grace, and is made effectual through faith in Jesus Christ and by accepting Him as a personal Saviour. (Titus 2:11; Romans. 10:13-15; Luke 24:47; Titus 3:5-7) There is no more salvation after death, but only judgment. (Hebrews 9:27). Once saved is not saved. He should keep his salvation diligently (Ezekiel 33:12)

Water Baptism

Baptism in water is by immersion, and is a direct commandment of our Lord (Matthew 28:19) and is for born again only. (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39)

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Matt. 3:11) is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation, and is received subsequent to the new birth.  (John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 2:4; 2:38-39)

Sanctification

The Word of God (The Bible) teaches that without holiness no man can or shall see the Lord. (Hebrews 12:14) We believe the doctrine of Sanctification to be a definite, yet progressive work of grace in the believer's life, starting at the time of the born again experience, through the word of God. (Hebrews 13:12; 2 Thess. 2:13; I Peter 1:2; Ephesians 5:26; John 17:17; I Corinthians. 6:11; I Thess. 5:23)

Worship

We worship the Lord in ‘Spirit”, ‘Truth’ and ‘Understanding’ (John 4:24, 1 Cor. 14:15) We worship by singing in melody accompanied by musical instruments (Ephesians. 5:19), by meditating upon his word that leads to individual praise (Hebrews 13:15), by proclaiming his grace as testimony (Revelation 19;10, Psalms 105:2), by giving offerings (Philippians 4:18) and by participating in Holy Communion.  Frequency of observance is left to the discretion of each congregation.

(1 Corinthians 10:31).

Festivals

We observe main festivals like Christmas, Good Friday and Easter Sunday, not as a practice  but for the glory of the God.. To one, every day is the day bearing his own cross.

Revival meetings

We conduct revival meetings, street preaching for evangelism and to strengthen the believers. It is the practice to conduct Annual convention at head quarters since father M. Devadasu founded the mission. So far 87 annual conventions are conducted, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. K. Manoharam and

Bro K.Z.M. Santhi Raaz. All the churches should attend this annual convention held once in a year

Divine Healing

Divine healing is for the physical ills of the human body.  It is wrought by the power of God, by the laying on of hands, and by prayer through faith.

(Mark. 16:18; James 5:14-15)

The Coming of the Lord

We hold that the coming of the Lord is imminent and is the blessed hope of the Church.  We also hold that the rapture is to occur prior to the tribulation.

Resurrection of the Just and the Unjust

The Scriptures teach that the just (those who have been born again, being justified by Jesus Christ) shall be raised by Jesus Christ unto eternal life and rewards.  The unjust (those who have rejected Jesus and His plan of salvation) shall be raised to judgment and eternal punishment.

Hell and Eternal Punishment

One who dies in his sins without Christ, will be cast into the Lake of Fire, being hopelessly and eternally lost.  There will be no more opportunity to receive Christ as Saviour. (Hebrews. 9:27) The Lake of Fire is literal (Revelation 19:20) and the words eternal and everlasting describe the duration of the punishment.

Tithe

We recognise the scriptural duty of all people as well as ministers, to pay tithes unto the Lord. (Hebrews 7:8) Tithes should be used for the support of the active ministry and for the propagation of the Gospel and the work of the Lord. It is not to be given to charity or used for other purposes. (Malachi. 3:7-11; Hebrews 7:2; I Corinthians 9:7-11; 16:2)
