The church was planted during Nineteen hundred fifties. While Dr. K. Manohara Sastry was ministering in Tenali the nieghbouring area, some believers had shown interest in his gospel and invited for revival meetings. Pastor J. Elia was appointed as pastor and the church started to grow. A large number of people used to turnout every year to hear the gospel. The three main elders named by Mr. S. Yesupadam, Goda Shalem Raju and Y. Elisha, who are no more, have worked a lot under the pastor and constructed the present church in 1970s. 

      During all these years the church has grown under the stewardship of Pastors J. Jaya Raju, K. Jaya Rao, V. Narendra Raju and Krupachari. 

      Bro. M.Daniyelu is serving here since 1998 very diligently. Now he has taken the burden to construct a new church building with the help of local church members. Recently the church work has started for construction
